What do I love more than a sunny fall day? An adorable family to photograph. And this family is just that with these three sweet girls. There's something about kids just being kids -- they're funny and adorable. Spending time with them is pretty awesome.

And you'd never know that the weather was rainy for days before and after this one. But this particular afternoon, the sun was peeking out and, though it was very cold, we were able to have a fun little photo session! It's hard not to love fall photo sessions. The colors and light are so lovely. It's definitely my favorite time of year.

But enough of that. On to the photographs!

My Wildflower Girl | Rochester, NY Child Photographer

There's an awesome field of wildflowers that I drive by all the time and I recently thought it might be TOTALLY FUN to have a little photography session there. So, I took my favorite little model to the field one evening and photographed her for about 15 minutes. It was perfect and she had a blast!

I'm sure I don't have to tell you, but babies are the best. They are squishy and smiley and just so sweet. Especially this little guy, who I got to photograph a few days after his half birthday (he was born on Christmas!). Add a pinch of chub, piercing blue eyes, and a limited ability to sit up on his own, and it's cuteness overload! 

I'm so glad I was able to meet up with this family to photograph them. They seem to be having the most fun since becoming a family of three! So, let's get to the photos!

What Summer Feels Like So Far | Rochester, NY Photographer

You know, I have to say that sometimes just snapping a few photos in a few minutes is a good thing. Especially when everyone is getting along (juice and crackers help!). Sometimes, it's good to capture an ordinary moment.

And even though it's not technically summer, it's surely felt like summer quite a bit. We are counting down the days until the end of the school year so the real fun can begin: lazy weekends at the lake, trips to the zoo, swimming in the pool. It's going to be a great summer!

Sweet Baby Girl | Rochester, NY Newborn Lifestyle Photographer

What is more fun that spending the morning with a sweet newborn baby girl and her family? When that newborn has an awesome head of hair! I mean, look at it. She's gorgeous. And that bow? Oh, my goodness.

I loved this photography session! It was so laid back. We just hung out, and I took some pictures. We took breaks and chatted and goofed around. Really, it couldn't have been better. And any mama who remembers those blurry newborn days knows that keeping things simple and low-stress is super-important.

These folks are such a sweet family! Congrats, again, on your baby girl. I'm so excited to share these photos!!
